Bathroom remodels
Bathroom remodels
From tearing out the old bathroom to the finished room, handled by one carpenter who cares how it looks up close.
Bathroom remodels, done the carpenter's way.
A bathroom remodel starts with careful demolition: tile, tub or shower, vanity and fixtures come out, and whatever is behind the walls and under the floor comes to light. Rot and water damage get fixed before anything new goes in.
Then comes the rebuild: framing and backing where it is needed, and the finish work that makes a bathroom feel new, with every edge, line and joint done carefully.
What a remodel can include
Planning a bathroom remodel
- Permits: plumbing and electrical changes usually need permits. Plan for them early.
- Layout: keeping the toilet, shower and sink where they are keeps the cost down.
- Timing: the bathroom is out of use during the work. If it is your only one, plan for that.
- Hidden damage: tear-out can uncover rot or water damage that has to be fixed first.

Questions
Bathroom remodels FAQ
Can you send photos for a bathroom estimate?
Yes, please do. A photo of each wall, the floor and the shower or tub helps Brad understand the room before he calls.
Do you do the demolition too?
Yes. Tear-out is the first part of every remodel.
